The role of Financial Technology (FinTech) and Technological Progress in achieving Digital transformation

The course aims to:

- Clarify the goals of sustainable development until 2030, which the United Nations General Assembly called for integrating into the development strategies of countries, relying on three fundamental pillars.
- Digital transformation is considered essential to achieving the economic dimension of sustainable development goals, with financial inclusion being the path towards digital transformation. Achieving financial inclusion requires the use of modern technologies, also known as financial technology.
- The financial technology industry has undergone several waves of development since 2008 until now. There is an increasing demand for financial technology, whether through banking institutions or specialized companies offering financial services.
- The course also covers explaining how financial technology can contribute to achieving digital transformation in Egypt.

The course will attempt to clarify many concepts, such as:

- The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- The three dimensions of sustainable development (economic, social, and environmental).
- Digital transformation and its objectives.
- Financial inclusion and how to provide all financial and banking services through digital transformation.
